My dear friend, I am sorry for your loss of your beloved cat. Our Sampson was nearly 20yrs and it took us quite a while, over a year before we could bear to replace him. As it turned out, we didn't. A stray mother gave birth in our garage to three kittens. We instantly had 4 cats, then 6 before we knew it.
