On July 11th, I'll turn 49 and on July 17th, I'll gain a new Father. It's odd how Life works sometimes because in the 70's he and my Mother worked together but both were married to someone and in the past two years, they've both lost their Spouse. My Mother just turned 69 herself but is acting more like 19! The Wedding will be very small with just their Pastor (Yes, their Southern Baptist), them, my Sister and I. Then the Honeymoon isn't really planned.....just a week or two of travel. I'm very happy for them and hope that they have many more years to enjoy Life together.
December: A Busy Month
I started the Month out really great.....had my Yule Greeting Cards ready and mailed on December 1st and my two Yule Trees done (large one in Livingroom and smaller one in the Grandkid's Playroom). Most of my shopping is done because I'd do a little each week after my appointment at the Spine Clinic and Rehab (my back locked up on me on Halloween/Samhain Night). Then on the 4th, I was "Blessed" with my 9th Grandchild and keeping her 3 year old Brother for 3 days while she and her Mother were in the Hospital so that stopped everything. I've really forgotten what it's like to chase after a child or keep them happy. His other Grandmother came and picked him up early Friday morning so then I was able to finish the decorating outside and finished inside today. Now it's time to start wrapping the Gifts and with my Family that is a major job.
Just wanted to leave this Yule Greeting to anyone that may visit my Profile:
